It was suggested by our fellow peers that our magazine did not really have a link to our poster. So our team mate Asha, tested to see if the black and white worked! (which was already used on the poster). We all came to the decision that the colour version works better and it still contrasts what is in the past and what is in the present. In which Sammy is in the present, so she should be in colour, to keep that clear and understandable, as a black and white image could suggest it was in the past.
